Abstract

This research aims to develop Performance-Based Junior High School Teachers’ Professionalism Management in Subang Regency. This research used with mixed method by sequential explanatory design starting quantitatively and then followed by qualitative data in Education Office in Subang Regency. The research subjects are Head of Division, Supervisor, Principals and Teachers. This study indicated that: 1) the performance of teachers in Subang was quite good and the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) on the performance of teachers in Subang was strong, significant and positive with a correlation value of 0.789. 2) management functions of CPD in Subang Regencywere comprehensively carried out in a well and systematic manner starting from planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting and budgeting because the Subang District Education Office refers more to guidelines from the center. 3) Conceptually, the CPD management function in Subang Regency had been implemented well. However, operationally, in its implementation it still felt inadequate and not developed or adjusted to the conditions of the needs of teachers in Subang Regency.
