EFFECT OF YOGIC PRACTICES ON RESTING PULSE RATE AMONG MALE CANCER PATIENTS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The influence of yoga practises on the resting pulse rate of cancer patients was studied in this study. A total of 40 male cancer patients were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group consisted of 20 people. The control group, on the other hand, received no instruction and merely conducted Pawanamuktasana series, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, and Relaxation for six weeks. Physiological variables were assessed before and after the trial using standardised assessments. The data was subjected to an analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and it was discovered that the Pawanamuktasana sequence, as well as asanas, pranayamas, meditation, and relaxation, had significant benefits on physiological variables in males with cancer (Resting pulse rate).
